Gallery Exhibition: Metallurgic Visions

detail: Polaphane Series “E” by John Whitesell

The Gallery @ Unique Imaging Concepts is pleased to present our first open-call group art exhibition. “Metallurgic Visions” will run from November 2, 2018 through January 4, 2019 with an opening reception on First Friday November 2nd from 6:00-9:00 pm.

Opening roughly two years after our inaugural gallery show, “Metallurgic Visions” represents our desire to showcase the wide array of talent and vision in the Greater Louisville art community. We got our start as a sublimation printing company 14 years ago by producing prints for artists from all walks of life. We are honored to continue that tradition by providing a platform for artists to present their work in all its vibrant glory.

“Metallurgic Visions” features work by over 20 local artists, all reproduced on Chromaluxe clear-coated Aluminum panels. The work selected for this series of prints includes photography, digital art, painting, paper marbling, and other media. Each image is transformed by the metal panels on which they are printed, creating dynamic images that shift with the viewers’ perspective.

We invite you to join us for the opening exhibition on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 6-9pm. The show will be on display through January 4, 2019. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00pm or by appointment. For additional information please contact John Seyal or Troy Rutledge, (502) 636-4150.
