MATERIAL: ChromaLuxe MDF wood panels (Matte Finish)
One of the benefits of sublimation prints on ChromaLuxe is that the prints can be wiped down and cleaned with ease – making them perfect for installations in healthcare and hospitality environments. These large format sublimation prints were made on Matte finish ChromaLuxe MDF wood panels, finished with black painted edges and flush-mounted with routed keyholes and security clips for a clean, modern look.

Kentucky Derby Museum – 2018 Expansion
MATERIAL: ChromaLuxe MDF wood panels (Matte Finish)
The new Kentucky Derby Museum expansion includes two new exhibits dedicated to legends of the Derby: Jockey Bill Shoemaker and trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Our shop produced a wide range of custom printed fine art panels for the exhibits including photos, text panels, and reproductions of archived documents. We used Chromaluxe MDF panels as the primary substrate for this project. This material works well for exhibits because it is vibrant and durable, and its thickness gives a dimensional quality to the final prints. We hand painted the edges of our MDF panels with unique colors of paint chosen to coordinate with other elements of the overall exhibit design. Click here to read more about this project on our blog
